Companies providing data directly to NGI include ConocoPhillips, Constellation Energy Commodities Group, Coral Energy Holding (Shell Trading), Louis Dreyfus, Merrill Lynch Commodities, Tenaska Marketing Ventures and UBS Energy. *Constellation did not begin providing data for the survey until 2006. Fortis bought the Duke/Cinergy marketing arm in 2006, and Cinergy's figures are for the first two quarters of 2006. Certain companies' marketing data was not included in every quarterly survey in 2006. Anadarko's data was published for three quarters of 2006. Enserco and El Paso's data was published for two quarters of 2006. Chesapeake, which qualified in every quarter of 2006, was not included in the 1Q2005 survey. XTO's data was published in 4Q2006 only. BP plc, which resumed reporting to this survey for 4Q2007, is believed to be the largest North American Gas Marketer by a wide margin.
