Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Successful candidates for this position will utilize a consultative sales approach to understand the needs of the prospect and deliver the right e-newsletter service or advertising opportunity to maximize the customer's goals and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong presentation and in-person sales skills
  • Ability to leverage online analytics to drive sales
  • Aggressive and independent with a marketing and service mindset, attention to detail and exceptional communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, Jigsaw, LinkedIn, Google Analytics a plus.

The successful candidate would be reporting mainly for NGI's Shale Daily, its newest real-time B2B publication, and also making some contributions to NGI's Daily Gas Price Index, which has been covering the wholesale natural gas market for nearly 20 years. NGI's Shale Daily is the first daily newsletter to reliably track the rapidly expanding world of shale gas and oil across North America. He or she will operate remotely as part of a cooperative,long-distance team, including our full-time staff of experienced energy journalists in Houston, Los Angeles, Denver, Calgary and at headquarters in Sterling, VA, near Dulles Airport.

NGI has been publishing natural gas news for nearly 30 years, and most of its reporters are long-time staffers with the ability to dig deep and get the real story beyond the rhetoric.
